My current favorite homemade item is made by my mother! (And quite a few others too- but mine are from my mom.) It's the full body bib! Take an inexpensive handtowel, cut a hole in it, add some ribbing and sew on something to make it decorative. I love that Taylor is totally covered when she eats. Full Body Bibs save her clothing from spills and stains. They are easy to wash and inexpensively replaced. There's nothing better for little eaters.

OOOH! I love that bib. Can she make one for me? When I changed my clothes last night I saw I had soup drips all over my t-shirt! ACK!
What a clever idea! My chidlers are past the bib stage but I'm going to store your idea in my head for future grandkids.
It's reminded me of how my Mother-in-law used to make snuggly hooded bath towels for the chidlers as babies. She folded a face cloth in half diagonally to make a triangle, then sewed the face-cloth triangle to a corner of a towel.. making a 'hood' to pop over baby's head. It was COLD in our first home & her home-made hooded towels were really snuggly.
I do so miss the baby stage :{

Jenny,
LOL! I'm picturing you in a bib like that but made out of a beach towel. LOL! You sure you're not pregnant? That seems to be when I spill on myself the most.
Mandy,
I love home-made hooded towels too! Babies are wonderful but I think grandbabies will be even better. You get to love them and then give them back to their parents for all the not-so good stuff. LOL!
So sure. I'm all the way don. Get yours now while you can. I was suprised to not get any more, 'cuz you know, I'm so young and all. ;)
That bib is very good. We have had some but I hadnt thought of making them..What a great gift idea.:)
