Scheduling Help

A friend of mine loaned me her copy of Terri Maxwell's Managers of the Home. I have been developing schedules for everyone, except the DH, and have been working on implimentation this week. It has been a challange because everyone is still a little under the weather, but on a whole the schedule has been a good thing. I did them on the computer and color coded each person. It has really been helping keep us on track. I'm sure I need to do lots of tweaking (I already did some.) But on a whole it just might really work. I've been praying over it so that our day is God directed and I also had my husband's input on what he wanted me to accomplish. If you are thinking of getting this book or putting yourself on a schedule I highly recommend it. My system is slightly different then the Maxwell one but the same in spirit.

I keep hearing about this book. Maybe I should look into it. Things always go so much better in my home when we have a schedule. Thanks for sharing about yours.

I found your blog through Wordless Wednesday. It is always nice to find more home school blogs. I will be back to visit yours.

I have this book along with "Managers of their Chores". We went to a Maxwell conference this past fall. It was excellent. It's very hard to implement such a schedule around here. Maybe it's because my girls are still small. It looks like you have a good handle on yours! Is it still working for you?
