After almost a whole week of no snow on the ground it has returned! No more 50 and 60 degree days until Spring. (I hope.) Don't get me wrong 50 and/or 60 degrees is fine in the proper season (s). But mid-January is not an appropriate time. If it is winter it needs to be cold and snowy. This, I know, is just my opinion. But I like winter! I like snow.

I'm coming out of the closet....I like snow too! I don't like having to drive in it, but I get all excited when the weatherman says we're in for some. I think it goes back to my school days when we got out for snow and those are some of the best memories: sledding with my cousins, baking for the fun of it, staying in a warm bed and reading a good book, the security of being snug and warm and knowing nothing was going to change that--at least until the snow melted! Nowdays, I don't TELL anyone that I like snow, but I think my husband is catching on. I've been trying to hide it all this time...
